Often inspired by current fashion trends, this year’s festive decor tips include –
- An all white, highly textured look. White Christmas trees and decorations can be absolutely stunning if executed well. It is a really elegant and chic look but make sure you add some baubles that are different textures to add interest and warmth.
- We’re seeing a definite move towards organic, earthy and natural decorations around the home. Homemade pieces are always fun – think pinecones, gumnuts, ribbons and twine. Get the kids involved and thread some baubles on a branch from the garden!
- Crystal decorations (or faux crystal is definitely a thing!), make for a truly eye catching look. Chock full that tree with sparkly sparkly crystal – amazing!
- But if you’re a minimalist at heart, you can’t go wrong with fairy lights and fairy lights alone. Magic!
