So happy for our lovely Vendor who, after tidying up, renovating and arranging property styling for this long term investment property, made a very quick sale.

This four bedroom home in Somerville is in a great location for young families.  The school, shops, open spaces and public transport are all nearby.

Our property styling selections for the Sommerville home reflected the likely target market and were family friendly, approachable, casual and bright.

The challenge presented by this property was a smaller fourth bedroom that did not have built in or free standing robes.  It’s a dilemma often faced by vendors, how to best present the room’s use to maximise value and appeal to buyers.

After consultation with the Vendor and Agent it was decided to present this small room, which would also work really well styled as a nursery room, as a study or home office.

We deferred to the better local judgement of the agent and the pace of the sale seemed to indicate no objection to the fourth bedroom being styled as a study!

With a wide open and inviting front porch we would have loved to invest some effort in property styling of this front entrance to create great impact.  However without a front fence the environment wasn’t secure enough to leave it permanently styled and staged.
