What is a property styling agreement?
After accepting your quotation, you will receive an email with a link to the Property Styling Agreement. This document outlines important terms including payment deadlines, insurance, responsibility for damage, and access requirements such as power availability or permission to use wall hooks. It must be completed and returned at least two business days before your styling day. If it is not returned, your appointment may be postponed.
When will I be invoiced?
An invoice will be emailed to you shortly after you accept your quote. It includes bank account details for EFT payments and a secure credit card link. Please note that Amex and Diners are not accepted. Your styling is not reserved until payment is received, so please ensure payment is made at least two business days before styling.
What is Style Now and Pay Later?
Style Now & Pay Later is an interest-free lay-by plan that allows you to access property styling or related services valued up to $15,000 and pay later without affecting your credit score. After you accept your quote, you will be emailed an application form through our third-party provider, Certegy. Once approved, you will receive a Verification Code and Lay-by Contract for acceptance. This must be returned at least two business days before styling.
What do I do about my exsisting furniture?
If you need help relocating or storing belongings, we can recommend trusted movers. We do not directly handle the removal or storage of your personal items.
What if my property isn't quite ready?
If your property cannot be styled as scheduled, for example if it requires further preparation, please notify us at least two business days in advance. If notice is given too late, a call-out fee may apply to cover removalists and staff. We will then reschedule your styling for the next available day.
What Happens on the styling day?
We will confirm your property’s access details and provide an estimated arrival time ahead of the appointment. Please ensure the property is clear and unoccupied to allow our team to work safely and efficiently. We will also arrange to secure the premises when the styling is complete.
What happens if there is an issue?
If anything minor occurs, such as artwork coming loose, please call 9108 5700 or email hello@propertystylingmelbourne.com.au. We will promptly attend to the issue.
When does unstaging occur?
A few days before your styling contract ends, we will contact you to arrange access for removing the furnishings and reversing the styling setup.
What if the property does not sell?
In very rare cases, less than 2 percent of styled homes do not sell within the six-week contract or at auction. If the furnishings are still available, we may be able to extend the hire period. Extensions are not always guaranteed, but we will keep you updated by email or SMS throughout the process.

The Finer Details
Prices listed are inclusive of GST. Properties 30 to 60 minutes from our Moorabbin warehouse have fixed prices. Properties over one hour away may incur additional logistics fees. Difficult access, such as no lift, more than two flights of stairs, or balcony lifts, may also involve extra charges. Oversized or unusually shaped rooms may require additional items, which will be identified during your site inspection. All inclusions remain at our discretion, based on our professional assessment of what best complements your property, together with the availability of stock at the time.
